Where did the time go?

So many things have happened in the past month. We may not have documented it all with pictures but that doesn't mean that we haven't been busy.


CHILEAN INDEPENDENCE DAY

Since our last post we have been having a lot of fun and it all started with a small celebration of the 18th of September which is the Chilean Independence Day so naturally we bought some Chilean food and had a little get-together with Emmalee and Eric and family. It was delicious. The best part was that I was able to fine a nasty chilean drink that took me back to Chile in just the first sip. It may look gross but it's really not that bad. It's called Mote con Huesillo.

SALSA

Our next adventure was making salsa, which may have turned out to be a disaster in the end. We made some delicious salsa and we even added jalapenos for a little bit of spice. We loved it. We learned a lot from this little salsa making experience and we will hopefully do better next time.

CAMPING

We wanted to go camping for the weekend but it wasn't working out for us so one Friday we decided that after work we were going camping. It was so fun. We got home from work and packed a cooler and a box of all the things that we would need. We grabbed the tent and sleeping supplies and we set out for the canyon. We got there just as it was getting dark and we set up camp. We then started to make our dinner and we ate by flashlight at about 10 pm. it was so funny and very enjoyable. We brought some steak and eggs for breakfast abd tried cooking them over the fire but the eggs didn't really work out. We packed up camp and went to the lake with the canoe and paddled around. It was just a relaxing little camping trip.

ISLAND PARK

We went to island park to help the Marble's clean the cabin and get it ready for winter. On our way home we stopped at some waterfalls and took some pictures.

Saturday in the canyon

We had some visitors this weekend because the fowl hunting season has begun. Carolee and Saul came up and stayed with Emmalee. Nick and Corie came and stayed with us. We decided that we would make tin foil dinners and go up the canyon and the hunters for dinner. Keith was the designated fire man and chef. It was very delicious and Keith can cook a mean tin foil dinner. I guess i'll mention that the girls did prepare them. Anyway the afternoon was very relaxing and enjoyable. The adults just sat around and the children played.
Emmalee and Eric, we told Puff to look but apparently didn't give him enough time. I'm not sure whats going on with Allie and Hyrum in the back.

We added this picture just for fun. We went to Emmalee's after the canyon for root beer floats and this is just a priceless little snapshot of Kolby that we were able to capture.

Labor Day

So as it turns out we didn't take many photos of the weekend, but the ones that we did take are priceless. We had a very full weekend, it all started on Friday when we headed down to Swiss Days in Heber. It was fun as usual but it is getting more and more crowded, good thing that they had all the "swiss" food to hold us over. On Saturday the girls naturally had some shopping to do and the boys were helping Brady with his yard. We went to Bella's baptism and to Ryker's blessing and we did a little school shopping on the way. We learned that Keith's mission president recently returned form his mission so we stopped by his house and did some catching up. We spent Sunday resting and visiting some friends. Now we get to the good stuff....Monday! We went to breakfast with a few family members and then took a refreshing nap. When we started on our way back to Logan we saw a glorious photo opportunity.After taking this photo we were heading to Keith's cousins house in daybreak so we stopped by the Oquirrh Mountain Temple to take a picture because we weren't able to attend the open house.
We spent some time at Brett and Whitneys and then we headed home to Logan to prepare ourselves for the week.

Happy Birfday Brady!

For Brady's birthday on the 2nd we went to the Beehive Grill and filled up on wings. Brady was so excited to be there and was planning on it since Sunday. We were unaware that the buffalo style wings were the hottest sauce known to man so, naturally, thats what we ordered. We should have just stuck with the barbeque style. It was really delicious and a lot of fun as our faces clearly state.

Lazy summer days!

We have done so many fun things this summer its hard to find a place to begin. We went to the second hand serenade concert at Thanksgiving Point and had a lot of fun there. Keith had a lot of fun because he knew all the songs and I'm pretty sure that everyone around us aware that he knew every single word. It was such a great time!

ALLIE'S BIRTHDAY!

Allie had a birthday party and she wanted it to be a "girl party", so she diecided to get finger nail polish and paint fingernails. It was really fun and everything was super cute.

She even had a cake shaped as finger nail polish!

BEAR LAKE

Keiths Grandma came to town for Kelsey's wedding and we so took advantage of the time. A lot of my family came up for Allie's baptism and Katelyn wanted to stay until Sunday so we had to find something fun to do. We went up to Bear Lake for the day. It was really crowded but it was a lot of fun. It was really relaxing and it was so nice to sit in the sun.

Everyone enjoyed the water and the sun. When Keith realized that there was a pail and shovel he set out to build the biggest and most amazing sand castle in history.

Katelyn was so distracted by all the water and the sand that she didn't realize that her pants were falling down.

Sometimes a weekend with Keith and Jackie is just too much for a child... and this is also proof that I'm not the only one that "baby birds" when I sleep in the car.

The beginning of Mr. and Mrs. Marble!

We have been informed that now that we are married we have to start a blog... so I guess that we'll start with the wedding. We got married on May 29, 2009 in the Logan Temple and it was the best day of our lives and we must say that it was also the longest. The festivities all started on the 28th at a BBQ at the Marble's house with both of our families and also a few friends. It was so much fun to hang out with everyone and the food was amazing. The next morning we woke up and went to the Temple. That was a great experience and it was fun to have our family and close friends there with us. That night we had a reception in Lehi and it was a lot of fun. We went on our honeymoon to Seattle and the San Juan Islands. It was such a great time.
